Our story

NMAYA is a ready-to-wear label cut and sewn in Lagos. Every piece is named for a woman — Ngozi, Nneka, Amara, Kachi, Zuri — because every piece is drafted around a real body before it becomes a size chart.

Made to order, on purpose

Nothing sits in a warehouse. When you order, your size is cut and sewn, which takes three to five working days before dispatch. It means less waste, a better fit, and a garment that was made for you rather than for an average.

The fabrics

We work in three: rigid denim for structure, linen for heat, and heavyweight cotton for the everyday pieces. All three are chosen for how they behave in Lagos weather first, and how they photograph second.
